We have some new associate workers! Florin Werner from Isca church is a SWYM worker for this year. Paul Cooke is employed as part time Belmont's children's worker and Anna Ripper and Simon Richards are on the contact year out scheme at Belmont. It's great to have these people on board!

I'm busy planning here in the office as lunch clubs start next week! We're following a series that we've done several years ago - watching a clip of Wallace and Gromit: the Wrong Trousers each week and relating this to the Gospel with activities and games. It should prove fun and popular!

Happy New Term!
I hope you have all had a good break over the summer. I've had a really good summer. Highlghts include the Keswick convention then DCYC girls camp and then a relaxing week in Nice!

Planning and preparation has begun for the term. My first school visit is next week with an assembly on Monday at Pinhoe school. Other than this there are meets and greets with various youth and children's workers and drumming up volunteers so prayers for plans to fall into place and the right people to come on board would be great!

Date for your diary - Tuesday 28th September - our annual commissioning service 7pm at Riverside church.
It would be great to see you there - and if you can't make it - do send a few prayers up for us all!
